Terms of Service

1. The Service
Applicant Edge AI is an AI-powered job-search assistant operated by K2 AI Solutions, LLC ("we," "us"). It helps you track jobs, score fit, tailor application materials, research companies, and practice interviews. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.
3. Plans, billing, and cancellation
The free plan includes limited usage of AI features. The Pro plan is $24.99 per month, billed through Stripe, and includes expanded usage subject to fair monthly limits (for example, tailored documents and live voice coaching minutes) shown on the Billing page. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; access continues through the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, though if something went wrong on our end, contact us and we'll make it right. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before it affects an existing subscription.
4. Your content
You own the content you provide (resumes, profile details, notes) and the application materials the Service generates for you. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process that content to operate the Service — including sending relevant portions to our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of materials you submit to employers.
5. AI outputs — important disclaimer
The Service uses large language models. Outputs — including fit scores, resumes, cover letters, company research, salary estimates, and interview feedback — are generated content that can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Review everything before you rely on it or send it to an employer. The Service provides tools, not professional career, legal, or financial advice, and we make no promises about interview invitations, offers, or employment outcomes.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no fabricating credentials or misrepresenting qualifications to employers, no scraping or reselling the Service, no attempting to bypass usage limits or security, and no infringing others' rights. We may throttle or suspend accounts engaged in abuse, including automated overuse of AI features.
7. Availability and changes
We're a small company improving the Service continuously. Features may change, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service; if we discontinue paid functionality you've prepaid for, we'll refund the unused portion.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or opportunities — including employment opportunities.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be signaled by updating the effective date above and, for significant changes, by notice in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: support@applicantedgeai.com.
